My mom calls me squidward. I like it. You’re probably just thinking it, aren’t you? It’s because in the early morning, I’m always trying to smile. That’s because I never know when I’m going to feel like smiling, and if I can’t smile then I’m not going to make it through the day.
Squidward is a meme made by the infamous Mr. Mibbit. It uses the smiling emoticon to show how happy you are, and was first created by his Twitter follower. It has since become a meme that is known to get laughs out of people and has gained a following of its own.
It’s actually a cute meme, but you can’t really do it as a meme, so please stick to the main character. You can try to mimic him. It has a “good one” and is always up to the challenge.

One of the other reasons I like squidward is that it’s kind of a “happily ever after.” You have your own happy ending, but all you have to do is walk out of Deathloop. Just like you’d imagine your own happy ending, squidward has you doing things that you think will earn you some sort of reward. For example, you might kill a Visionary, but the one that you killed might actually not be the one you wanted.
The game is basically designed for this kind of happy-ending experience. However, the way it does it is very clever. After you kill the last Visionary, you’ll walk out of Deathloop and come back in time to see the Visionaries as they are, ready to kill you. You also get a “good” vision when you kill a Visionary, which might involve some sort of reward, depending on how the mission was designed.
